What Is the RIDEVU Service?
The RIDEVU service is available through a partnership of Sony Pictures Entertainment, IMAX Corporation®, Mercedes-Benz, and DTS Inc. It will make IMAX Enhanced® movies available from the library of thousands of Sony Pictures features, so you can enjoy your favorite stories without ever leaving your Mercedes-Benz vehicle. You’ll have access to popular films like Venom: The Last Dance, Spiderman: No Way Home, and Uncharted, as well as options for multiple dubbed languages.
The RIDEVU system is the first entertainment service of its kind, but it’s intuitive and easy to use for all drivers. Simply use the Screen Manager function to control the screens from the central multimedia display, and enjoy movies on up to six screens. If you’re the driver, you can also watch films on the central display when the vehicle is in park.
What Mercedes-Benz Vehicles Will Have RIDEVU?
The RIDEVU systems will be available later this year. Vehicles produced in the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Germany will have access to this advanced streaming program. In order to qualify, vehicles must be equipped with the MBUX® Entertainment Package Plus and have an active Mercedes-Benz connect subscription.
