There are two engines to pick from for the 2027 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Sedan. Those who stick with the S 500 trim will receive a six-cylinder engine that makes 442 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque with a 0-60 mph time of 4.3 seconds. There's also the Mercedes-Benz S 580, which comes with a more powerful eight-cylinder engine that pumps out 530 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque with an improved 0-60 mph time of under four seconds. Both powertrains have mild hybrid drive systems.

Exterior Highlights

This new Mercedes-Benz vehicle has been completely reimagined, starting with the newly standard Mercedes-Benz star on the hood. The front grille has been illuminated for the first time, presenting three-dimensional chrome stars as you approach. There are new DIGITAL LIGHT® twin-star headlamps for improved nighttime confidence and a captivating appearance. AMG® Line and Night packages are also available for further customization.
